First Friends of Dandenong Creek (FFDC) works with a range of organisations and individuals to enhance the creeks that sustain life in our area. We dedicate our time, expertise and energy towards the wider catchment area of Dandenong Creek. This includes Dandenong Creek's tributaries between the Liverpool Road Retarding Basin in Boronia and the Boronia Road bridge, Wantirna.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of country throughout Victoria and Australia and pay our respects to them, their culture and their Elders past, present and emerging.
FFDC formed in May 1999, when a group of locals, tired of witnessing the degredation of Dandenong Creek through channelization and development, decided to do something about it. Together, they formed the First Friends of Dandenong Creek Inc. Since it's inception, FFDC has become trusted within the community for its tireless dedication to the environment and the people it supports.
